How do I care for our glass cups?
It’s really easy! Take all parts apart and either place in dishwasher (top rack) or hand wash with mild soap. The glass bottle, all silicone components and white cap are also steriliser safe. Our cup has been deliberately designed to be fully and easily disassembled so you can ensure all components are thoroughly washed and dry between uses, to prevent any mold build up.
Are there replacement parts?
Yes, we currently stock 2 different types of straws, the original valved straw and the open straw, spouts and teats.
What is the difference between the Original Straw and the Open Straw?
Currently, ALL our cups come standard with the original straw. These have an x-shaped valve at the top of the straw to prevent leaks and spills. They have a slightly slower flow compared to our open straws, similar to other sippy cups on the market. Our open straws are great for thicker drinks or for those who prefer faster flow, while still containing the majority of leaks and spills. These are available to purchase in our shop for only $9.95 for 2, so why not try them or keep them as spares!
How durable are our glass cups?
Our borosilicate glass, encased in a thick silicone sleeve, is designed to handle the daily adventures of little hands. While we can’t guarantee it’s unbreakable, we’ve taken every measure to provide maximum protection. We do advise to inspect the cup prior to every use and exercise caution when on hard surfaces such as tiles, concrete or brick. Supervision is required when the cup is in use and inspection after each drop is advised.
90-Day Drop Guarantee
Until further notice, a 90 Day Drop Guarantee will cover all Kaakaa Cups purchased on our website, starting from the date of recieving your package. Within this timeframe, we will happily replace the glass component of your cup if it breaks, however you will need to cover the flat rate shipping cost of $10. Please ensure you carefully remove the broken glass from the silicone cover and accessories. If you can not safely remove the broken glass from the accessories, please contact us for further instructions. To claim, please email hello@kaally.com.au and provide a detailed description and photo evidence. Beyond this guarantee, spare glass cups will be available to purchase here.
